NHCCE 2024, the National Human Capital Conference & Exhibition, is Malaysia’s most premier conference for human capital development, organized by HRD Corp.
As I am participating with my colleagues at FA Advisory Sdn Bhd as one of the exhibitors, I've had to do my homework on:
- How to get there,
- Where to park with the lowest spend,
- 5 things you must do,
- And all in all, how to make the most of this 3-day event
Psst... Make sure to visit us at C33, Level 2 to say hi, get ice cream, enter a RM600 lucky draw, and learn more about our proven ways to up your productivity for 2025.
Key details to know before you go
NHCCE 2024 location
MITEC, Kuala Lumpur
See location on Google Maps
MITEC, the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre, is the largest trade, exhibition and convention centre in the country. It is located in the suburb of Segambut in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia.
Event dates
NHCCE 2024 will take place for 3 days, from September 30 to October 2, at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.
Make sure to arrive early to avoid the crowds and get the best seating at key sessions.
Getting to MITEC
There are two main entrances, North and South, at MITEC.
The NORTH Entrance is closer to where you need to register for the event.
By car
If you're travelling by car, MITEC is accessible by major highways i.e. Duke, NKVE, SPRINT Highway and Jalan Kuching.
And these are the designated parking areas for your vehicle (AND the maximum you'll pay for being there the whole day):
- MITEC Basement Parking 1 and 1A
- 1st hour or part thereof - RM10
- Subsequent hour - RM5
- Maximum per day - RM15
- Motorcycle parking is free
- MITEC Outdoor Open Car Park - RM15 per entry
- Valet parking at South Entrance - RM 30 per entry
- MATRADE Outdoor Open Car Park - RM14 per entry before 10am; RM7 per entry after 10am
- MITI Basement Parking – First two hours RM 5, RM 2 every subsequent hour with a maximum of RM20 per day
- The MET Corporate Towers Basement Parking - RM15 per entry on a weekday; RM5 per entry on Saturday and Sunday
When my team and I got there to set up our booth at about 1pm on a Sunday (with a big baby fair going on), MITEC parking was already full.
However, still lots of parking bays available across the MITEC building, i.e. the MATRADE outdoor open car park, which is where I parked and spent RM7 per entry as it was past 10am.
Happy to report—it was a reasonable walk to the venue.
I was told you can expect to have parking available in MITEC's basement (total 1400 parking bays) if you're there in the morning though!
Take a look at this image to see where each parking site is located.
By e-hailing or taxi
If you're using an e-hailing or taxi service, be it Grab (on your Android or Apple device) or any other service provider, request a drop-off at the North Entrance at MITEC.
By public transport
Travelling by public transportation to MITEC is pretty hopeless, since there isn't any LRT, MRT or KTM station near the venue.
And Malaysian buses are not the most reliable time keepers. Having said that, if public transport is your only option, below are guidelines provided by MITEC.
By KTM: Stop at Segambut station which is a 20-minute walk away to MITEC.
By bus: Ride the 852 or 851 bus and stop at KL 1022 Matrade South bus station, a 4-minute walk to MITEC.
By MRT: Stop at the Semantan station which is a less-than-10-minute DRIVE to MITEC.
Navigating traffic around MITEC
Recent Google reviews indicate that getting in and out of MITEC can be challenging, with traffic jams lasting up to an hour.
Participants who drive to the venue may face additional delays due to ongoing construction on the access roads and the fact that MITEC parking only has two entrances.
E-hailing services and taxis may also take about an hour to reach you when you're ready to leave, primarily due to heavy traffic.
So arrive early in the morning and plan for potential delays in your evening schedule.
Keep snacks, water, and necessary medications on hand in case of prolonged wait times.

1. Plan your schedule
Download the official NHCCE app, named MyHRDCORP from App Store or Google Play.
Utilise the app to review the agenda beforehand and prioritize the topics, speakers, exhibitors and BizMatch opportunities that align with your interests.
Consider creating a personalized schedule to ensure you don’t miss out on key opportunities.
It'll also be incredibly worthwhile to spend some time visiting the exhibitors on Level 2 during breaks.
Oftentimes, special promotions for software, sales/HR/leadership training sessions and more will be presented. If you have balance left from your HRDF levy, Level 2 is the perfect place to grab some great deals.
2. Utilise your HRDF Levy
While I don't know exactly what other exhibitors have ready for you, I'll speak on solutions my team and I are offering.
On HRDF's BizMatch portal you can get our proven-to-increase productivity trainings for a very special 20% to 50% off!
3. Participate in the Let's Tour NHCCE Lucky Draw, stand to win Apple, Samsung, SONY products, etc
This is open to only delegates with paid tickets.
One entry per delegate.
All you have to do is collect 50 stickers from different exhibitor booths, stick 10 stickers of each colour on a special card (maroon, green, orange, blue and red) — and voila! You're in the running for a big prize...
Each color represents a different zone.
Just make sure to submit the card before 2pm on Day 3! Winner announcement will be made at 3pm at the Exhibition Stage Area.
Want to stand a higher chance to win more?
Visit FA Advisory's booth at C33, Level 2 to enter a lucky draw for cash prizes worth up to RM600! Winners are announced daily at 4pm.
